If you are a Byars (any spelling) consider joining the Byars/Byers DNA Project. If you are a female, talk to you males relatives and encourage them to participate. You may want to sponsor one of your older relatives who is living on a fixed income. We are also pledging what we can to help those who need financial help get the test. We have almost worn our the known records on our ancestors. DNA will tell us a lot, and give us a direction to research. This DNA test is for Genealogy ONLY. It will not be used for anything but the search for ancestors. You should go to the Byars GenForum and post your info there. Contact the Project Manager at:
