I apologize if I haven't already replied to your message. I thought I'd replied to all & just spotted this!
The Phillip Jackson 1859-1916 is the right person (though his actual date is 1911) and it was pointed out to me that his name was listed as Burrough in the 1880 census, as was his father Joel A. The Nancy isn't a relation I've come across yet. The Phillip J. you found for 1784, I will definitely investigate, as names seem to be passed down within families. This family has had their last names recorded by census takers so wildly different from what they are, I'm now investigating all kinds of names! What an adventure!!!
The Philip and Martha in Wilson may be from a different branch of the family as I have confirmed Joel and Martha as well as John and Martha, but haven't found yours yet - as you know, doesn't mean they aren't related, just not found directly as yet.
So far, the Lachas/Lachar hasn't come up, but I have such a long way to go!
My Thanks and Appreciation for your help and your time! You've given me some new leads!
