I live about 40 miles north of Carthage (Marshall), which is the county seat of Panola County. There are 24 listings under the Parrish name, but most of them are in Gladewater, Longview, and Marshall. NONE are listed in Carthage. Of course, in the 40s and 50s, Longview was the place people moved to when they wanted to 'move up' but not move out of the general vicinity.

If you have a cell phone with unlimited weekend minutes, go to http://www.switchboard.com, click on "People," then input the name of Parrish in Longview, TX. You might also try Pat Parrish in Marshall. His number is 903/938-2749.

Good luck.
