Hello Heather,
Thanks for the information on William it seems this is the man.
It is now more important than ever that I am put into contact with relatives.
Along with the USAF the village of Helmdon (not Stoney Stratford,although it is only about 15 miles away)in the UK a memorial will be erected to the memory of William and his crew who were killed in the crash.
The USAF at the local airbase are keen to encourage any family members to take part in the ceremony.
Any further help enabling contact would be invaluable.
