Toothman family

Anyone have any connections to the Toothman family? After surviving the skirmish on their farm in Missouri that involved the first Kansas Colored Regiment, Enoch and his son, John, F., who formerly rode with Quantrill, relocated in Kaufman County, as did, apparently, many ex-Confederates. Please contact me if you have any further information about my family line. Thanks.
