Hi Wanda: I am looking for descendants of Collin McKinney who was a representative from Red River during the first congress of the Republic of Texas on October 3, 1836 in Columbia, Texas, now called West Columbia. On April 17 we dedicated a beautiful park with 20 historical markers (one with all the Representatives and another with all the Senators) and a beautiful seal of the Republic of Texas. It has Texas native plants, Texas and U.S. Flags and benches all along the path. If you ever come to West Columbia, please stop and see this beautiful park. If you will email me your mailing address, I will send you a program from the event. tissie@quikheal.com
