Thanks so much for the info. I feel so silly, I read Mrs. Lilja and Lila. I did find John Morell's death cert..it's J.V. 'Marell" he died in 1928 and it probably buried in the Elgin City Cem too, although death cert says "Manda Cem." The name "lilja" is probably pronounced "Lily" as the 'j' before a vowel is usually pronounced as a 'y'. Anyway, we will go to Elgin for a family reunion sometime early this summer, maybe we will go by the cem and see if we can find the stones. I have family buried there. Again, thanks for the info. Are you related?
