But you're hanicapped in that you don't have much to go on re Mr. Bailey. Errors can occur in obits as wall as any other "official" document. I had a gg-aunt, Ann (Tague) Reynolds. Her husband was shot & killed by a union soldier in 1865 Davenport, Ia. Ann took the kids and moved back to Smithfield, R.I. and we don't know why.Her married siblings all still lived in Davenport Her sister Mary's obit in 1911 Davenport indicated her name as Mrs N. Reynolds, and also the last surviving member of her immediate family. But Mrs.N. Reynolds, or Ann, had remarried and died before the 1911 obit. So apparently the Tague family never had contact with her after she left Iowa. Dick
