Thanks Constance Peck,
Do you have the siblings of the Mason Locke Weems born December 11, 1917. My guess is that John Edward Weems born in Mansfield, Texas was his brother, but that is just a guess.

The M.L. Weems you show as the father of Mason Locke Weems was born in 1807 in Virginia and married Asenith Slade before they came to Texas in 1838. Do you know who his parents were? My hope is that the parents of M.L. Weems, born 1807, were Parson Weems born October 11, 1756, and his wife Frances "Fanny" Ewell, but again I have no proof of this relationship.

I am trying to help our U.S. Congressman, Ted Poe and his parents get into the SAR and the DAR so any additional info you have on this like would be greatly appreciated. I will be glad to reimburse you for any expense you have in sending any actual documents you might have that will serve as proof for SAR & DAR membership.

Thanks again,
Tom Green
