My ancester, Anthony Wayne Walters was a Texas Ranger sworn in by Capt Hiram B. Stephens for a few days during the Cherokee uprising in 1838. Do you have a roster? ASlso, his father, Tillman Walters MAY have been a Texas Ranger also at that time. Can you check on this please? THANKS! Merkel Walters GGGrandson of Tillman Walters & GGrandson of A.W.
