I wonder, but you'll correct me if I'm wrong, could the 'P' in her name, which is only found in one of the census, stand for 'Porter', her 1st husband's surname.

There are no parents listed on her death certificate but I did see Ella Morgan on one or more of her children's death certificate. Is this how you ID'ed her maiden name to be Morgan?

Now, where did she marry a Porter and what happened to him?
