I have a list of 5th Cavalry. My 2ndGGrandfather Augustus Hallowell Kerr served. I got a list from an online re-enactment group at www.currensnet.com. I do not know if they still have the list. I could find only two Kerrs. Augustus and T.P. Kerr. Let me know if you find more. The 5th took part in battles in New Mexico. You can send for veteran's records. Let me know if you find brothers to Augustus.
