Eugenia D. Mann b 9 Jan 1878 AL d. 15 Jul 1969 Cisco, Eastland, TX m. 8 Dec 1895 Clay Co., AL John A Pursell. From the 1900 Clay Census I know of one child Allie D Pursell. I don't know when they left Clay Co. AL because I have been unable to obtain any 1910 or 1920 census records that I need. I do know that Allie Jane Reggins/Regan Mann is not buried in Clay Co., AL with her husband. Several months ago my cousin told me that she thought Allie was buried in Eastland. At the time I had no idea why unless she remarried. Her husband died in 1902 and I am going to venture to guess that it was not much longer after that that she moved with her daughter and son in law to Eastland Co., TX. If she did it would stand to reason that her young unmarried children Allie P, Lonnie (LC) and James R. Mann would have gone with her and possibly another daughter Laura G. I have found a marriage record for a Laura Mann in Clay Co but have been unable to prove that it is or is not her and who's to say that she and her husband did not move with them too. The only other child who was still living at the time was Rufus who had moved to Covington Co., MS by the 1910 census but his brother Lonnie C.(my great grandfather) did not show up there until 1912 when he married my great grandmother.
