Hi, I too thought this would be easy, but I have been trying to find him for nearly 10 years or more! We have his military records after applying to the US Government which gave us his date of birth as 15th October 1923.
We don't have the marriage certificate, my grandmother is still alive and refuses to talk about it, we do have my mother's birth certificate but that shows his address as my Grandmother's!
My mother seems to think he was from El Paso, but I have searched the birth register there to no avail.
I really appreciate you taking the time to reply - my Mother's dream would be to find him, but she has not pursued it seriously as she didn't want to upset my Grandmother, however, we haven't got time on our side anymore as he will be around 85, if indeed, he is still alive.
I will see if I can apply for a copy of their marriage certificate - good idea!
