Her date of death should be in that widow's pension file. Someone would have notified the state of TX when she died to stop her pension benefits. Have you sent for that widow's pension application? When and where she married the veteran should be in there. She would have to prove she was married to a veteran to receive a widow's pension. I see he also applied for a pension. That should give his date of death. I'm guessing Sue was a second and younger wife.
