I am sorry that you were not able to know your father. That must be tough. My father passed away in 1984 and I miss him every day. He was such a kind man, loved by all, and the very mention of his name brings all kinds of nice things said about him.

Is it possible for you to order a death certificate on your father? That might give you some further information.
