Francisco Cano was my great-grand-dad; he is buried in Leesville Texas; his son my grand-dad was Rosalio Cano he was raised and buried in Leesville.I have no clue who my great-great grand-dad was. I wonder if Francisco was the same person listed in the info you provided to Cheryl? and if he was related to Miguel Cabera? I've heard some family talk of a land grant in Goliad County. What do you recommend to a rookie looking for her roots?
