Hi, I think Joan gave you a lot of good information but I read the name of the 9 year old daughter on the 1930 census as Maurine M.

I had trouble finding this family on any other census, but I did see where Tommy registered for the draft and he used the name Russell Tommy Gressett born 30 Sep 1899. He was short, med build, blue eyes and light hair. This was signed on 1918 and lists Mrs Myrtle Gressett at that time. The 1930 census says that both Tom and Myrtle were 18 at the time of their first marriage so they must have been newly-weds when he registered for the draft.

I see 4 of their children's births: Don Herschel 28 Feb 1934, Joyce Karon 8 Oct 1931, Troy Russell 16 Mar 1937, Virginia Nell 4 Jan 1936.
