hi constance thank you for emailing me back..the only thing i know about edward v. black is he was born in 1884 in lawrence co. ohio or in west va .thats what my cousin as told me this would be her great uncle my 2nd cousin ..at one time he live around charleston west va ..near east bank west va ..lillie told me he went of to war an came back an married a woman name mary .dont know her last name he had a brother name james black live in east bank west va. his son said that they was a family fight an edward left an went to sa atone texas ,,,,edward v black parnets are ..john w. black an susan bowman black..any thing will help be glad to pay ..are you relatived to the blacks ..my are from west va.. va. ohio ps he also had a brother name joseph black .. thank you mack black
