Looking for Chavers or McDaniels in McLennan County, TX

I have hit a serious dead end in finding family from TX. I have been able to locate my g-g-g-grandparents in McLennan County as early as 1870 but lose them after 1910 in Fresno, CA.

John McDaniel (b.1839 in AL) married Margaret McDaniel (b.1840 TN or Ark.) and had 9 children--Zolly, Clippid, Ozora, Ida, Ardan, Bartholomew, Margaret and Percy.

I know that Ozora stayed in Waco and married Horace Thomas (H.T.) Harris in 1885 and lived in CA until the earthquake of 1906 with her family.

Margaret McDaniel died in Fresno, CA in 1912 and is the dauther of Charolette Lee and Peter Curry.

Two of the daughter, Margaret and Clippid, married Chavers from Waco and moved with them to CA--Fresno and then eventually San Bernadino, but I lose them once they leave TX. I'd love anyone who knows anything about Chavers in TX or CA and could help me in picking up the trail again.
