I don't remember if I've posted in this forum before, but maybe someone here can help me. I am looking for ancestors for my paternal grandmother. Her maiden name was Ila Bobbitt, and she was born in Ponta, near Myrtle Springs. She was born February 8, 1886 and died in Fort Worth on February 11, 1964. She is buried in the Myrtle Springs Cemetary.
I have tried all kind of searches for her on various geneaolgy forums, via the web and so forth, but the only thing that ever comes up for is in connection to my grandfather, John Delmar Tipton. It's like the poor woman didn't even exist before she married him!
Any information that anyone can give me will be much appreciated, and will help revive my poor grandmother from obscurity.
