Hi Dianne,

Hmmm, I don't know why a direct e-mail to me wouldn't go thru. I did get a new computer & for some reason, 99% of all responses to me on Genforum are not coming to my e-mail. I just saw the one you posted on the 14th. It never came to me. The one that you posted on the 19th was sent on the 20th, but I just received it today!! I have no clue what's going on. I'll have my hubby fix it when he comes home in November. Meanwhile, I'll just check here to see if you have responded.
No, I am not a Genealogist, just a searcher. I've been doing this for a while. After I searched my ancestor's I decided to help others to find theirs.
I noticed in your history that you say you found a William D. Willson & Maggie living in Bastrop in 1880. I don't see them. Can you copy & post the info for me?
As far as Maggie's maiden name goes, that's a tough one. Need to find one of her children's death certificates. With any luck, whoever reported the death will have known her maiden name.

I will poke around to see if anything "clicks".
