You don't say how George is related to the others. I checked your message history and found Melvin listed as born 1919, son of Silas, so went looking for Silas on 1920 census and worked out from there. Looks like Melvin was born after 1920.

1930 census Brooks Co, TX:

Bowen, S.J., h, 40, m @ 18 yrs of age, b TX, GA, GA
" Lela, w, 39, m @ 17 yrs of age, b TN, TN, TN
" Roy, s, 17, b TX
" Lorene, d, 14, b TX
" Melvin, s, 9 ?/12 b TX

1920 census Bexar Co, TX:

Bowen, Silas, h, 30, m, b TX, TX, TX
" Lela, w, 29, m, b TN, TN, TN
" Russell, s, 9, b TX
" Roy, s, 7, b TX
" Lorrene[sic], d, 5, b TX

1910 census Starr Co, TX:

Bowen, S.J., h, 20, M(1) 2 yrs, b TX, GA, US
" Lela, w, 19, M(1) 2 yrs, ch 2, 1 lvg, b TX, US US
[census says Lela had 2 children, 1 living, but none are listed in the household]

There is a town named Primrose in Tarrant Co, TX. Since you know death date for George, do you know county where he died?

I tried to read some of your queries from your message history and some tend to jump around. Is George the father or grandfather of Silas? If he is the grandfather, how about giving us the name of the father of Silas? Might be able to find him on census when Silas was at home. And work back from there.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
