I bought my copy years ago at pre-publication when I submitted several bios on my husband's lines. He was third generation born in Grayson Co, TX.
"The History of Grayson County Texas" by Grayson County Frontier Village, printed 1979.
I'll contact someone I know in Sherman, see if he knows of any copies still available, or if it was reprinted.

I reread the bio, much of it is on how some of the members of the Extein family were "involved" in soooo many social, civic and cultural organizations. And she keeps referring to people in the bio on how she is related to them, rather then straight who married whom and direct lines and connections.Heading for bio is "Exstein, Jake & Bertha", but first line begins with "My Grandparents all came to America from Germany....."So, my first reaction was Jake and Bertha were her grandparents. It does take some careful reading to get everyone straight, but she does have some good info.
Bertha Wolf, dau. of Isaac and Sophie Doppelmayer Wolf married Jake Extein. [parents of the submitter]
"My mother and Mrs. Ike Exstein (dau of Meyer Doppelmayer) were cousins, as well as sisters-in-law)."
"My mother had an aunt and uncle - Henry and Bertha Doppelmayer Jacobs." [I wonder if this is the Bertha dau of Dan Doppelmayer in Harrison Co, TX???See, you need a program to follow this lady's info.]
Happy Hunting (^_^)
