I have a marriage index that has this info.

THORPE, John P.
       Wife:       Sarah A. E. SEWELL
       Marriage Date:       3 Sep 1873
Recorded in:       Fayette, Texas
              Wife previously married
Source:       FHL Number 966864       Dates:       1870-1877

The reference is to a film at the LDS Family History Library in Salt Lake City.

I am trying to follow this family to make sure it is the same family, but they are sure jumping around.

I can see them in Kimble County in 1870, then the marriage in Fayette County in 1873, then by 1880 they are in Throckmorton County?? Then New Mexico?? What info are you using to tie the New Mexico family to the Texas family?

Now for the Gossetts...where are they. I have a Gossett family so I am always interested in this name. I know, too many questions. I just wonder if we have the same family in each instance. What do you think?
