I am searching for any information regarding my grandfather's family. His name was Elliott Larkin Mays and he was born in Texas (I don't know where) around 1890. He worked in sawmills around Louisiana during the 1920's. 1930 Census shows him living in Bienville, LA. He died in 1930 and is buried in Clearwater, LA. I know he had at least one brother, but I do not know his name. He married Josephine Dorman (my grandmother) and was married one time before, but again, I do not know to whom. I do know he had at least 5 children, Jake, Jewell Murphy (my father), Eddie Earl, Nick, and Tobie. I know this is not much to go on, but if anyone has any ideas or information, it would be greatly appreciated.
