I don't know who you are Lynn, but I love you. Thanks so much. I had tracked down the obit, found the cemetery and grave location (Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas), found where he died (Mesquite), who handled the arrangements (McCullough Funeral Home in Mesquite - now out of business). My dead end came when the Texas Department of Health could not find his death certificate, even with all that info. Fortunately, my title gives me a little clout and a nice lady at the Dept. is researching the whole thing. Now, thanks to you, I can give her the certificate number. I really appreciate you taking time to help me. Bless you.
