You may already know this information, since you indicated you could not find WT Bumpas after 1930. However, I didn't see an inquiry from you on the message board of the County where he was living in 1930, so thought I'd pass this on.

1930 census, Hockley Co. TX, JP#3, h/h 15/15, BUMPAS:
Wm. T, head, 48, TX-KY-KY, farmer
Viola, wife, 46, MS-MS-MS
Durwood/Derwood (?), son, 15, OK-TX-MS
Debbie, dau, 11, OK-TX-MS
Durland (?), son, 4, OK-TX-MS

Indicates WT Bumpas had been living in OK for quite a few years, since all kids at home in 1930 were b. in OK, and that they moved to TX between abt. 1926 and 1930.

Hope this helps in some way.

Fred
