OK, let's take this a step at a time. What makes you think Marion was in TX "by" 1880? I don't see any Marion or M. Markham in TX on the 1880 census index. Do you know the name of the wife of Marion?

I checked your message history and you say in a different post Thomas was born "1895", left his wife and child in TX. What is the name of that wife and child? In what county were the wife and child residing in TX? Did the wife remarry later? If so, what was the name of the her husband?

There is a "possible" match 1920 census Bowie Co, TX, with a Thomas 21, b TX, wife Mamie, 17, b TX and dau Tommie G., 4/12, b TX.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
