I searched the 1930 census for these names and came up empty. An approximate age would help, but I understand you don't have that. Have you checked for a death certificate for Charlotte in Kansas City? This should, in theory, give the names of her parents.
They can be ordered online from the Kansas health department:
You'll have to give them a date range to work with, say 1932-1942 for example. Many times they ask for a specific date but will check nearby years as well. You might also try the Missouri side if the Kansas doesn't work out.
There may be a record at the New Jersey health department for the marriage of these two. That may give you something to work with if Charlotte's residence was noted.
