Death between 1880 and 1900 ?

Manerva Guest (my great grandmother), was listed on the 1880 Montague Co. census, with my great grandfather William, and his daughter Elizabeth (my grandmother,Dicie Elizabeth Guest Allen). The next time I find a census on the family is, 1900 in Grays Harbor Co. Washington state.
There, only William and Dicie (Dica - Dicy) are shown with her husband.
I don't know if Manerva died or was divorced from William by 1900.I only know that she wasn't on the census in Washington, with the others.
I haven't found a death listing for her in WA., or Tx. and do not know what her maiden name was (making the search even harder). I've tried all the states between Tx. and Wa., hunting for a death notice (without any luck).
Perhaps someone that has better resources than I, can find something on Manerva.
Thanks, Dave.
