To locate an obituary, or newspaper article regarding untiimely deaths, you really need date of death. The TX State Archives in Austin has a TX state wide death index, the first set covers 1903-1940. They should be able to give you date and county of death. I would give them the name of his wife, too. If there should be more then one Mose Copeland, wife's name and date of death would help to make the match.

Armed with exact date of death, you then could try the public library in Bonham. Ask if they have back issues of the local newspaper (might be on microfilm). If they do not have it, they should know who would have them.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
