I'm beginning to wonder if Cornelia wasn't Helen Florer McAfee's younger sister---another daughter of Dr. Thomas Florer. He did have a daughter named Cornelia. Perhaps the Cornelia who lived with Helen and husband, McDuffie Wightman McAfee was Helen's sister.
