Thanks for the suggestion about the death certificate. I hope to visit Jackson Co., AL at the end of the year. I plan to go by the courthouse and get copies of any certificates they might have on file. I did see that census with the PA as the birth location. I think the census taker heard Pennsylvania when they said Pittsylvania. The same has happened with family members over the years. The 1930 census has VA. Although, nothing is verified yet and until it is, anything is possible. Thanks again!!
