Hi, In 1860 my COOPER family was still in MS. They did not move to Texas until 1869/70. Could there be a connection, possible, but I could not tell you. My James Cooper was born 1820 Covington Co., MS. His father, Nathaniel COOPER was born in North Carolina and is most likely they did go through Georgia in the era 1810-1819. Georgia doesn't have any 1810-1820 census records so hard to tell.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.
Phyllis
