Did they also have a brother named Lew? And, was the father named John? If so, go to the Handbook of Texas Online -- http://www.tsha.utexas.edu/handbook/online/index.html -- type in Casner, click on search. First two items are about the background of the killing of two Casner brothers (no names given for them) and the revenge by their brother Lew and father John.
