Harriett O. Woodall

Harriett O. Woodall was born 1844 in Alabama and died July 4, 1870 in Earth, McLennan County, Texas. She married Leroy Carrell on May 8, 1863 in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi.

Leroy is her second husband. Her first husband is: William Wiley Shaw born c.1830 in Alabama He appeared on the census in 1850 in Winston County, MS. He was a farmer in 1850. He appeared on the census in 1860 in Louisville, Winston County, MS. He was a farmer at Webster, Winston County, MS in 1861. He served in the military in May 1861 in CW ARMY / PVT, Co A. 13th MS CSA INF. He died on September 25, 1861 in Leesburg, Loudoun County, VA.

William Wiley Shaw married 1st to a Martha then second to my grandmother, Harriett O. Woodall. They were married in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi on April 4, 1861.

Harriett O. Woodall and Leroy Carrell (1820-1886) had the following children:

John Henry Carrell born February 2, 1864 in Choctaw County, Mississippi
Alson Andrew Carrell born August 29, 1865 in Oktibbeha, Choctaw County, Mississippi
Issabella Frances Carrell born 1866 in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi
Wesley Carrell born 1866 in Choctaw County, Mississippi
Lucy A. Carrell born 1869 in Choctaw County, Mississippi
Alma Hinde Carrell born July 4, 1870 in Comanche County, Texas
