Longs migrating from TN before 1850

I am looking for information and connections to the Edward & Alcey Long family of TN.
Edward Long b:1810 of Alabama, married Alcy ? b;1814 of TN. She may have previously been married to an Alfred or Albert Long, the brother of Edward.
The following children are shown to be born in TN
Elizabeth 1833
James 1835
Reuben 1837
Polly 1839
Catharine 1841
Solomon 1844
John 1848
After Johns birth, the family left TN, may have stopped in KY for a short period then appeared on the 1850 Hopkins county Texas census.
There were 3 other children born to Edward and Alcey, after they arrived in Texas.
They were Robert L Long b: May 1854 TX
Melissa b: 1856 TX
Albert b: 1858 TX
I descend from the Robert L Long branchs that settled in Truce Texas, with relatives still living in the Truce.
Looking forward to hearing and sharing information with distant cousins.

Erny Long
