There was a 'A Pelat', age 53, single in the 1920 Oakland, Alameda Co., California census as a boarder at 355 10th street. He ran a Barber Shop. Living in the same place was:
Fraucie Joseph ? head m w 47 m imigrated 1892 naturilized 1919 from France
" Angele wife f w 34 m imigrated 1903 naturilized 1919 France
" Marcelle E dau f w 11 sgl born California

Many other boarders.
