I have learned that Judah's surname was GEORGE. (This from a biography of Hiram Walker by Melba Gibson Frossard (deceased)included in East Texas Family Records, Vol 111, Spring 1979, p 18-22. A bibliography for this article is included.) If you are not able to find this article, I will be happy email it to you. An additional child is in in the 1860 census of Limestone Co. TX, he is Elijah WALKER 9 years old in 1860. Perhaps Judah died in his birth. Hiram Walker married Sylvania GREEN (my relative)10 Oct 1858 in Cherokee Co. TX. Her father was a Methodist Minister, as was Hiram Walker. Another member of my family was Hiram's namesake, Hiram Walker BLACK. I am very intersted in learning more about Hiram Walker's family.
