I don't see them in the indices for the 1920 and 1930 censuses (which doesn't mean they aren't in the census).
Do you know when Marcus died? His death certificate should tell you the names of his parents. If you have a vague idea, but don't know the exact date, you can ask the Texas State Library to do a death record lookup for you. This page has more information.
