From what I understand, I am getting my information from my father-in-law who is 85 years old, Isiah died in Palestine in 1993 at the age of 90 but Isiah's wife, Mattie Bell Campbell (Arnold) died in 1938 at the age of 38 and she was born in 1900. I've thought that maybe he had the dates backwards being he was 93 and died in 1990 so that would make him born in 1987 which makes more sense to me but I don't know how to obtain birth information. The Arnold's are a black family and from what my husband has told me, Palestine is still a split community and I myself experienced this when I went to City Hall. If any of this helps please let me know and I will continue to dig and see what I can find out.
