Longs migrating from TN, KY into Texas
Posted by: ERNEST LONG (ID *****3676) Date: January 07, 2005 at 07:30:29

I am looking for the Edward & Alcy Long family that I believe lived in KY between 1845 to 1849.
The family is found on the 1850 Hopkins Co. Texas census.
Edward is shown as born @ 1810 in Alabama
Alcy is shown as born 1814 in TN
The children:
Elizabeth; James; Polly; Catherine; Solomon and John are shown being born in TN.

Alcy may have previously been married to a Alfred Long.

The oral history passed down, says that the Longs migrated to Texas from KY.

Looking for any leads
