Thanks for the information...I found Jefferson in 1870 and 1880.....and even tho the info fits, am not entirely sure this is my Jefferson in 1880. But could possibly be.
My mistake on the census, it was the 1900 I found them in Texas, and the girls birth was La.
I will try for the Texas Death Index 1903-1940 and see what gives there. Again thanks for the reply.
