Looking for descendants of Henry Edwin Vickers, born 1850 in Caddo Parish, LA; died March 1926 in Temple, Bell County, TX. Married Lucy Ann Simons Hood Hunt in 1876 in Washington County, TX. Lived in Bell County, primarily in or near Oeanaville/Seaton, for most of his life.
Children were Redden, Homer Buck, Lydia Bets, Joseph Sidney and John Felix. I am looking for descendants of Redden, Homer Buck, and John Felix Vickers.
Redden (1877-1910) married Edna Chapman and had Lena, Inez, Traverse Robert and Lucy Belle.
Buck (1881-1933( married Prebble Smoot and had Cornelia "Polly," Henry Burton, Iola and Maurine.
John Felix (1887-1929) married Vera Susie Hall and had Jewell Ann, Corine "Trixie," Clyde Homer and Roy Oliver.
I am the granddaughter of Lydia Bets Vickers, and I have family pictures of these three Vickers sons and their children which I would like to return to members of those families. As far as I know, the descendants of John Felix Vickers went to California; those of Redden and Buck Vickers probably, but not certainly, stayed in Texas.
I'd be interested in exchanging information with members of all of these Vickers families
