There are 3 other adult Kellers in the county, all born TN, too. George M., 37; Rufus 28; Stephen 27. I tried locating on the 1880 census, can't tie them all to the same family, maybe they are cousins???? But, it looks like at least James and George are brothers.

1880 census Franklin Co, TN:

Category: Name; Relationship to head of household; Marital Status; Gender; Race; Age; Birthplace; Occupation; Father's Birthplace; Mother's Birthplace:

Wm. A. KELLER Self M Male W 47 GA Farmer SC SC
Reb. J. KELLER Wife M Female W 39 TN Keeping House TN TN
George M. KELLER Son S Male W 16 TN GA TN
Lee H. KELLER Son S Male W 15 TN GA TN
Archy P. KELLER Son S Male W 14 TN GA TN
Edward W. KELLER Son S Male W 12 TN GA TN
Benj. A. KELLER Son S Male W 11 TN GA TN
Wm. F. KELLER Son S Male W 7 TN GA TN
Jas. C. KELLER Son S Male W 6 TN GA TN
Wallis KELLER Son S Male W 3 TN GA TN
Sis KELLER Dau S Female W 1 TN GA TN

Previous page, I think this M.J. Kellar is mother of William and the Matilda on the 1860 census below:

Jas. TANKSLEY Self M Male W 62 GA Farmer SC SC
Mandy M. TANKSLEY Wife M Female W 55 GA Keeping House SC SC
M. J. KELLAR MotherL W Female W 87 SC GER GER
J. J. JUDGE Other M Male W 16 AL Laborer AL AL
M. M. JUDGE Other M Female W 13 TN House Keeping AL GA
A. JUDGE Other S Male W 22 AL Laborer AL GA

1870 census Franklin Co, TN:

Keller, William W., 35, b GA
" Rebecca, 26, b GA
" George, 6, b GA
" Leah, 4, b GA
" Arch, 2, b GA
" Edward, 1, b GA

William is 11 yrs older then Rebecca, so went looking for him with possible previous wife. I would check land and probate records in Coweta Co, GA, see what you might find, but this looks like a good "possibility." W.H. is right age, b GA, and next page parents both born in the Carolinas. If it were my line I would check it out a little more. Post some queries, see if you can find anyone working on this Keller family.

1860 census Coweta Co, GA:

Keller, W.H., 26, b GA - clerk SC - land 2000/personal 6000
" (Olivia?), 15, b GA
" Frank, 6/12, b GA

Next page:

Keller, Henry, 56, b NC - Grocery ___ - land 2000/pers 6000
" Matilday, 45, b SC
" James W., 25, b GA
" Joseph R., 17, b GA - teacher
" Susan H., 13, b GA
" Daniel W., 11, b GA
" Thomas W., 7, b GA
" John L., 3, b GA

In 1870 W.H./William is no longer in Coweta Co, GA, but Henry is still there. Land records should show when final sale was made and heirs would have to sign off to give clear title to buyer. See if your William shows up as an heir.

1870 Coweta Co, GA:

Keller, Henry, 66, b NC - land 200/personal 1050
" Matilda, 55, b SC - shows her with land 1000 (inherited??)
" Susan H., 22, b GA
" Thomas W., 16, b GA
" John L., 13, b GA
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the Muse line, since you show Matilda born in Jackson, AL I'm assuming you found her and her family on the 1880 census, maybe you've already taken them back further.
Dillons do not show up on the 1930 census in TX. You might try your local Family History Center, they have a subscription to Ancestry.com which has an everyname index to the 1930 census.
Happy Hunting (^_^)
