Hi Beverly, You didn't include any dates, or approximate dates, in your post, so I went looking at your message history. I gleaned much more from the queries you posted on Collier and Woods forums, but Woods is very common, so I'm going to ask for a little bit more from you.

You gave full name of Laura's husband and even state where he was born, then gave state where they married, do you have any dates on those events? You know about when they died, but without their ages at time of death, still can't figure out when they were born.

If no dates on them, you gave the name of their daughter, do you know when and where she was born? Or, any of their children? This will narrow down census searches.

You mention the Indian blood is Blackfoot, have you done any research to see where that tribe was located?

Wouldn't it have been nice if there had been a law that people with common surnames had to name their children less common given names. (^_^)
