There are two large, old cemeteries in Galveston. My sister lives in Dickinson and has offered to stop by to see if she can locate your gggrandfather's grave. Do you know if a marker was ever placed there or was he buried in a common grave? By the way, I go through Hamilton often. What a beautiful little town!
