I would like to know if i am wrong when i assume that errors often occured in the census records and if ages dont change like they should when ten years has passed but the person doesnt age ten years. Also in regards to the information that you helped me to find in the previous post. I believe that Mahalia Fowler and Mack and Lela Fowler in the 1880 census are the family i have been looking for. I am not so sure that mahaley in the 1870 census is the same person. How do i track down information to verify this or confirm that they are the same person and there are just errors in the census records. Any help that you could give me to shed some light on this would help. And thank youfor welcoming me to the world of genealogy... i love it and think i will continue to like it if i figure out how this all works.
