Joan first let me thank you.. I really do appreciate your help... 2nd.. this really has me confused.. Belle was the sister of my g-mother & I never even knew she had another name as she was always referred to as " Belle" ..The Missouri makes sense because there was an aunt named Missouri-( her mothers sister) The bible records are difficult because they only used initials, no names.. The Suttons did move to Texas and must have gone back to AR. per 1920 census and back to Texas again. WM & Eliz. F. King are the parents of Missouri as you guessed. They died in the 1920's so possible why the Suttons went back to TX. Since Missouri was born 9/1881 and the ss Tx record says Belle Sutton born 2/1883. I wonder if there is a mix up here. Wm. King was a merchant and also owned land but I have not found probate or will on him...He had been retired a few yrs. when he died so he may have already settled everything.
I know my Grandmother did get some money...According to the only aunt I have left the Suttons lived in Texas during WW11 and had a son Eddie( wonder if he was Edgar, Jr. ??) in the Military...So,I shall keep trying to solve this mystery... Thanks E.J.
